"CRAVE" CD

Crave is the second independently released album from Rayko—the singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer who would later front the Los Angeles modern-rock band Dig Jelly.

Originally released by SourceOne Records in 1999, Crave captures Rayko during a formative and fiercely independent period of her career. She wrote the material, co-produced the recording, and personally promoted her music throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, carrying copies directly to schools, venues, and prospective listeners.

Across 14 tracks, Crave combines alternative rock, punk energy, hip-hop-influenced rhythms, melodic hooks, and intensely personal songwriting. The album was produced and engineered by David Dunn, co-produced by Rayko, and mastered by internationally renowned mastering engineer Bob Ludwig.

Songs from Crave appeared in films and on MTV’s Undressed. The album also introduced the name “Dig Jelly,” foreshadowing the band and musical identity Rayko would develop further in the years that followed.

This is an original physical CD from Rayko’s early independent catalog—not a modern reproduction. It offers a tangible piece of her musical history and documents the determination, songwriting, and self-produced spirit behind the beginning of her career.
